Pardon the silly title. We’re wrapping up our month in Vietnam and it’s been a while since I posted anything. Most of our time has gone to home-schooling efforts and the beach, but we’ve had plenty of good experiences to remember Vietnam by. Many notable differences between Vietnam and Thailand too. The movie theater in Thailand required everyone to stand and salute a montage of the King placed in front of various odd scenes (blue screen shots) while the anthem played. In Vietnam, the anthem and king were replaced with a dancing cow milk advertisement and the standard sing-songy female Vietnamese voiceover.
In rural China, all the restaurants exhibited their raw ingredients by placing their glass door refrigerator front and center. No menus. The coast of Vietnam featured large pools of live sea animals. The fancier the restaurant, the larger the aquarium you pass on your way in.

You are starting to look more like John Lithgow from certain angles. Looks like everyone is doing well and enjoying themselves. Safe Journey to your next stop.
You might get this twice as I use Chrome but do not see the “Post Comment” button which in IE11 is within the I’m not a robot box.
Awesome photos, thank you. Your journey continues to inspire me! Looking forward to seeing where you all land next.
